Hahhaha at some of you arguing. Replays have clearly shown Carra made contact outside the box, and in the Torres one their player made contact with the ball as he stood on Torres foot. We haven't played well and don't deserve much more than what we have got.

Probably. Clearly in a minority. Funny how people can't have differing opinions without being a **** etc. I don't think we can have any genuine complaints. Jumping at strikers at waist height and Carra not getting booked. A halfhearted claim for a pen against torres. All pretty desperate stuff.

Infact we've been pretty poor with too little width and Voronin on the wing, which I just don't get tbh. Stevie's saved the 1st half but I think we need someone like Kewell out wide on the left and SG on the right. We should win this still.

I am not blinkered at all mate. You clearly don't know the rules. The player was fouled outside the box but when he fell he was inside the area. However it still doesn't mean it's a penalty as you have to look at where the initial challenge took place.

Not always - if a foul is committed outside the area and the foul CONTINUES inside the area then its a pen. This would be the case for example with a shirt pull or a push. However in this case, although contact continued in the area the contact in the area was that of two players falling over - not a "continuation" of the foul. That means that even the "contact continuing in the area" argument doesn't hold here. Deffo not a pen.

Carra's fould for me was outside the box...it was a stupid foul and he should've been booked for it but it wasn't a peno.

When I saw the replay of the Torres appeal it looked a penalty to me. Iwould happily put my hands up and say I was wrong if replays proved that.

And I agree we've been poor.

My point is the initial foul took place outside the box and he fell inside. The foul itself didn't continue inside the area.
