We got out of jail today..

Middlesboro pulled of a win against the Arse... which means we're still in with a chance of getting to within 2 points by New Years..

    LET BATTLE COMMENCE!!!

Only if Rafa stops farting around witht the formation. I don't mind him making a few changes to the team, however it frustrates me when he changes the formation and places players in positions they're clearly not comfortable in.

Big 'if' time, but if we win next weekend and chelsea do arsenal...it'd be

      Arsenal 37
      Chelsea 37
      Mancs 36
LFC 33 (with game in hand)

We need things to go our way, but even if the above didnt happen, we must win next week because Arse/Chelsea are losing points whatever happens and we HAVE to capitalise.

Boro just twisted the knife in that little bit further...

Well at last Arsenal are dropping points and Boro have just saved us by beating them at home 2-1. And that has put us back behind them 7 points still which can be wittled down to 4 if we win our game in hand.

It could have been just 1 point had we won yesterday and I've accepted it (mainly thanks to Arse) but we've already put that behind us and know we must win on Tues AND SUN.. I think Anfield will be mental on Sunday this is the first time we know we can really beat them especially after last seasons last minute snatch from a certain irishman.

Thing is, Rafa has yet to beat Ferguson in the league - but you just feel that's about to change on his beloved Anfield sideline .

And I still believe we can win the league this season, there's been too many shocks to the big teams so far, and that could suggest a very tight season and title race..

Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

Apart from the fact there are already two threads on this subject, it just seems ridiculous to view Arsenal's defeat as a cause for regret.

We lost yesterday which was disappointing.

Arsenal lost today which is pleasing.

Any other reaction is just silly IMO.
            .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

Ideally we need to beat Man U, but a draw wouldnt be the worst result in the world. A loss would be a diaster.

Looking on the bright side we knew before the Reading match it was to be a massive week. If we was to lose one match out of the three (Reading, Marseille and Man U), i would prefer it to be the Reading match.

It could be the closest title race for years.
                            Oh I don't know.

Mancs lost a couple of weeks ago too. Puts yesterday's game into perspective.
