He only said he wished the interviewer had asked Rafa about him, which is perfectly normal when you consider we’ve allegedly tried to sign him before and the player is currently in tremendous form.

Why would he ask him though? 18 months ago we were linked with him 4 months ago we were linked with Eto! This month we've been linked we Villa! I wish he'd asked about Kaka but it means nothing.

What evidence is there to suggest Rafa still wants to sign this player? There has been no talk in the press no internet rumours only AFII expressing that he is a good player and he would like us to sign him.

Not to mention the fact that when Aguero was in the press at the time he constantly told them all he was a Liverpool supporter, and he celebrated the '05 win as if he was a LFC player.. no?

One has got to have the asumption we would have snapped him up then if we'd had the money.

I was really impressed with him in the U20 WC and he could replace Tevez in the Arg starting XI - he's already made his debut against Bolivia last month.

Point is, if we have the money then we should buy him it's as simple as that. But we lost out at the time and unless we pay over the odds he'll stay in Spain.
