Inter Milan defender Marco Materazzi was delighted with his return in last night's win at PSV Eindhoven.
"The leg feels fine," said the Italy defender after the 1-0 victory. "I am returning to my best. Tonight was a major challenge, even if the result did not count. Whoever goes onto the field wants to prove to be worthy for Inter.
"This counts a lot."
He added: "Once you get to the second round (of the Champions League), all the teams are equal. Though, I would like to avoid a British team. Liverpool, for example, were very impressive the other night."
