Had Chavski not got that spawny pen against us, and something gone in against Blackburn and Birmingham we'd be joint top.

When have we won a game this year that we didn't deserve to? How many have we drawn or lost when we didn't deserve to?

Now ask the same questions about Man U or Arsenal. Luck is a huge factor, indeed even allowing for ****ty losses, we'd be much closer if other teams hadn't got lucky.

Lucky in the circumstances to beat Everton. Didnt play well, but won at Wigan.

Lucky to get a point at Pompey, they missed a peno.

9 mins away from drawing at home to Fulham.

Very late equaliser against spurs.

Possibly a fortunate freekick at Villa which we won the game from.



To an extent, you could make a case for the above.

Hmmm, I don't think I agree that we've been unlucky this year then - you could argue we've been fairly fortunate in several games.

And the old saying of a game last 90 minutes is very true!
