Hey Clyde. Good thanks and you? How's things down Kerry way?

I believe there is proof. I have the raw data here. Now if only there was someone around who was good on excel who could bring it all together.

Must admit Everton's loss was entirely predictable even if they chose another path. Instead of bending over and taking it up the arse against Manu they actually played well and defended really well, until one of them had a brain explosion and gifted it to them.

Would of been funny to see their changerooms after the game.

It would be nice tro have some luck but ultimately we decide our own destiny. Drawing Brum at home and a catastrophic loss vs Reading have been our own undoing. As mentioned us not being able to beat the top 3 at home also does not help.

I'd settle for going back to the days when the opposition were praying for a bit of luck against us, as their only hope of getting anything from us.
              That's the one...

The luck even-ing itself out of the season is bull. We never seem to get the run of the luck. The Scum always flooky against teams they only deserve to get a point against. The Chavs just terrorise referees and get away with it. The Arse and Wenger are just pathetic. They are going back to their 10 red cards a season stuff and no one recognises it? We have been very unfortunate this season. For the games mentioned by some people.... Everton- two stone wall penos. Fulham were well battered, we had a stronger bench (Torres made the impact) Spurs (we should have won considering the chances) Pompey was a **** game, we could have won if we had better strikers on the pitch and Villa- we deserved the three points, we hammered them. Villa fans have said on 606 that Liverpool had looked the most impressive against them, moreso than the Arse and Scum

You get more lucky decisions if you are rich. Look at United last season for example. I lost count on how many clear cut penalties they got away with, some of them was so clear cut that it was beyond laughable.

Chelsea don't get any penalties against them at Stamford Bridge, Terry gets away with more or less a red card tackle almost every game.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Yep, rarely are penos given at the Stretford End and whatever stand the Chavs have.

It seems its all going in there favour especially Manure. They had had alot of luck this season and alway pull out a result even if they play crap.......maybe a bit of a one man team at times i.e Ronaldo

.....also what will go in there way is that they wont have anyone leaving for the African Cup of Nations

Rooney gets away whatever insults he shouts at the ref. If Carra for example would say the same things then he would be sent off.

Top clubs spend extortionate fees for players with the ability to play at a higher level than usual and more importantly, give their team the ability to play at a higher level. The more such players a team has, the higher the chances are of them combining to score more times in 90 minutes than their opposition, regardless of how badly they may play overall.

We should be careful to make the distinction between this phenomenon and good fortune.

Nobody should be surprised if the Scum are getting outplayed for 89 minutes and then out of nowhere, £30 million Rio Ferdinand plays the ball to £17 million pound Anderson, who knocks it forward to £25 million Wayne Rooney, who strokes it wide to £12 million Cristiano Ronaldo, who gallops into the penalty area and falls over somebody's foot. That is what they pay for.

This is not an easy point to qualify but it is no coincidence that Chelsea suddenly started to enjoy good fortune after spending the best part of £300 million. Of course, if a club can develop their own players to play at that higher level, they may not need to buy so many from elsewhere.

This year, we aquired a player with the ability to play at that higher level and off the top of my head, I can think of two occasions already when he has inspired us to take late points when we perhaps shouldn't have - Spurs and Fulham.

It's true that you make your own luck. But you can buy it too.

Maybe we wouldnt need luck if we had some kind of backbone when we faced United, Arsenal and Chelsea....or just bothered to turn up against Reading, Spurs and Brum.

                              Sooooooooo true
We bottled it in them games you have mentioned there.

And we'd be further behind if hadn't got that freekick against Aston Villa...
