I can't see that being a factor he injured himself in a collision which could of happened to anyone.

Hobbs should play. He'll only progress as a player the more games he gets under his belt. It is difficult blooding youngsters but thats what we have them in the squad for, when there are injuries and suspensions. If you're then going to overlook them for left backs playing out of position its a sad state of affairs.

Agger will be fit and Hobbs and Arbeloa can cover.Riise is a nightmare in any defensive position.His defending for Benjani's goal lastweek and Barnes's miss yesterday were horrible.

Agreed. He`s not there yet, but looks a good prospect. I remember Carra when he started to play for the first team, I wasn`t impressed. After a while he suddenly became the player he is now.
Hobbs has done OK, and certainly needs to be given more chances, and definately before JAR at CD.
