"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

He lacks some composure in front of goal, and a bit of clinical finishing a la Fowler. To be fair, not many have that quality.

Fowler's in a league of his own when it comes to clinical finishing. Torres won't reach that level imo.

Believe it or not I was one of the few back on Koptalk who wanted us to sign Torres. I think the mans world class but the finishing qualities Fowler had was natural and it's not something that can be taught. Yes, players can improve in terms of composure in front of goal but when it comes to natural finishing, Torres is not one imo.

I reckon not. That kind of ability is instinctive and even, natural.

The example of what I mean was for instance when he skied that sitter in the second half yesterday. I thought, oh boy...that was soft.
But I forgave him. He is the dogs and will only become better.
What a class goal last night. That was Henry style, and if Rooney(not that he could) or some chav scored it it would have been goal of the season and fleet street would be covered in jizz. Now it will just get a "decent enough" but not a patch on Tevez/Rooney/Drogba comment. But I don't really care, we know we have one hell of a player on our hands who bangs them in and scares defenders ****less. That is enough for me.

Totally agree but it is good he isn't as highlighted in the media like Ronaldo and Fabregas are daily in 'expert' columns. It keeps his head focussed with Liverpool and make him work even more harder to get the recognition if he wants it. Rafa believes there's more from him, watching him in Spain, I think so too.

What is so good about him is he can create his own goals and finish them, but doesn't he finish them in elegant, silky and in the most classy manner. He simply passes it into the back of the net. He doesn't thrash at it or put loads of power a la Cisse and Baros, he guides it into the back of the net. He is by far the best striker in the Premiership at this moment in time and in the top 3/4 in the world in current form along with Raul, Ibrahimovic, Benzema and Toni.

brings a smile to my face when so many on here were muttering he wasn't strong enough blah blah blah. He's the best striker we've bought since rush and would walk into most starting 11s in the world
