They share duties, however, I reckon you are going to see Arbeloa chosen more and more for the bigger games over Finnan (once we have a competent left back)

Any one who writes off Finnan is very foolish, against Chelsea in last seasons CL semi the goal came about when Arbeloa was at right back and at fault, I think it will be at least 2 years before Finnan is put out to pasture, unless we buy Richards of course!!

                  I disagree.

                  Pompy Away.
                  Marseille Home.
                  Everton Away.
Besiktas Away (missed a sitter as a sub).
                  Blackburn Home.
                  Fulham Home.
                  Bolton Home.
                  Utd Home.

Too many games there where I don't think he did enough, even if the team ultimately did okay in some of them.

He's a luxury player that we frequently play out of position. Both he and Babel could be reliable if we played them in their favoured positions but as Rafa currently picks & fields them they are not.

Crouch would be considered reliable if we played with proper, skilled wingers but clearly this season you can't say that has been the case so even though I rate him I can't say he fits into that category.

Me too. His form so far this season hasn't been as consistent as some would make out. Having said that - he was excellent against Portsmouth last week so hopefully things are on the up.
