We didn't sell our good players though. Rafa has sold the players left over from the Houllier reign that weren't good enough or his own buys that weren't good enough. He may not have had bucketloads of money but he's not been forced into selling a single player that we needed / wanted to keep and who themselves wanted to stay.

The fact he has raised a decent amount from sales is to be applauded, I don't disagree there, but please don't use it as a justification when we perform like a shower of ****e.

You're using similar criteria to justify your anti Rafa campaign though mate.

I could write you an essay on my reasons for Rafa not being the man for the job, the money he's spent and how he has spent it being just one of them.

As for a replacement, the new England boss would have been my selection as I think he would have been the perfect man for our club.
