Can't see Rafa from where I sit in the Kop, a post obscures my vision so I will go with what you say.

I think babel will be an unreal force in a season or two.

Remember Ronaldo a season or two ago,Babel has the ability to destroy defences, the lad needs time and paitence.

I feel sorry for the lad though, if anyone does try their best it is Kuyt, unfortunately for him, its is not good enough.
          Top man in my books.
I remember a certain player called Erik Meijer (spelling) he was not very good, but still fans adored him, or atleast he has a bit of a cult status. I hope Kuyt can have a similar tag.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

I'd like to think that with a run of matches he could find some form again but he's been way off the pace this season.

I wonder how much Torres has highlighted how poor our other strikers are and shown us what we've been missing?

The difference is Bazza we never relied on big erik,he was bit part so we enjoyed his efforts,Kuyt is meant to be second to torres and his lack of quality shines even brighter.

Any manager coming from Scotland will have to be extra special to win the Prem. At that rate we might as well go for McLeish, Strachan or Smith. Shankly & KING KENNY dont come along that often.
                  I was being sarcastic mate.

DJS's point was that in Italy or spain you need less points to win the league than you do in England, so I said why not a manager from Scotland, you need 90 odd points there to win the title.

Torres is what we as LFC should aspire to,he's shown us glimpses of our illustrious past,of the great we had and highlighted the absolute losers we have now scot mate.

Um, the Spanish league overall is unquestionably of better quality.

Indeed, Spain have 16 teams in the top 80 of Uefa's rankings (and if you scroll through them you'd fancy all of the "lesser" teams against the Spurs and Evertons of the world). England have 10. And one of those is Leeds.

                        There's some stats for you.

Scary to think that at the beginning of the season the press and all of us were saying we had the strongest squad.

You will notice that 4 English teams make the top 8 though.
