    Anfield Shsssssssssssss

Sky sports are reporting that Anfield is at number 16 in the noisiest grounds in the premiership, behind the Mancs, Arsenal and Everton who were 5th. Sunderland are the loudest.
Those that hid Anne Frank were breaking the law.
Those that killed her, were following the law.

Saw that in the Independent the other day iirc. Wigan the other day was shocking, easily the worst atmosphere I've experienced at Anfield.

I remember the crowd booing numerous times during the Houllier years, plus the attack attack jibes.

They didn't do the study though, just reported it. I'd be interested to see how many games it was done over, as we're deathly silent for some games and brilliant for others.

apart from Europe and games against the top 3 and blue****e, it does seem quiet on tv.

Then you should have been at the Birmingham game in Sept, was far worse. Sat in the centenary, and didn't sing a song the whole game

In the GH days it was common but that was more to do with the frustration at the utter sh!te dished out by the sides in the last 12 - 18 months of his reign. It was the only time in my life where going to Anfield week in and wek out was an utterly painful experience.

As for the attack attack chants...they're not jibes. It's the fans willing the team to attack rather than sitting back and offering nothing going forward when we're in need of a goal.
