United this year was the most quiet I've experienced Anfield for a United game. Wigan was understandably quiet because it was f**king freezing and we were crap

A bit misleading. Apparently in the same survey the 'Anfield Shout' was the loudest in the Premiership (shout or cheer that is).

Was amazed how quiet it was last time I went (last season).
            3rd place. Worst champions ever.

It's embarrasing how many times other supporters have started singing "shall we sing a song for you" this season. Anfield is definately getting quieter
We managed to rectify it, though, because it now says, "Cook" where it once said "Cock", and "Pass" where it once said "Piss", so it’s slightly less rude.

Wouldnt mind it, but a lot of the quiet ones around me have been the old school that should know better.

...if anyone has spare tickets for me this season I'm happy to come along & promise to make some noise.

Know what you mean, mate. Went to the Bolton game 2 seasons ago. It was totally quite for 90 mins. Went to the derby last season, because I wanted to experience some real atmosphere, was very poor. The game was like a friendly, not kidding. Went to the Porto game this season, was ok.

It was minus 6,I was so cold I think I sang once,I was sat right by the kop and they weren't much better.

I'd never known it so quiet in all the times I'd been there, normally come out hoarse.

I was in the kop and apart from a group of lads somewhere in the middle chanting Rafa's name for 15 mins straight in the 1st half it was dead. That was one cold miserable night.

Considering a lot of the other grounds have between 10000-30000 more fans than us is it a surprise?

I thought only Arsenal, United, Sunderland, City and Newcastle have bigger grounds than us?
