how do you come to that conclusion?
the german setup is the perfect example of how i'd like us to go.
the food/beer tents around the stadium will probably never happen but there is no reason why their standing model couldnt be implemented over here.

I come to that conclusion based on things that have happened in the last few seasons to me or people i know plus stuff i've seen on tv. For instance we (Liverpool fans, not me personally) have tried to ambush Manc fans the past two seasons on the trot. I work with 3 scum season tkt holders who were at Anfield this year and were rushed by LFC fans, the Police contained the situation, this also happened to them last season. I was at the game against B'burn at Ewood Park this year when their fans were running through the away fans coaches trying to pick off hapless LFC fans. Throw in what happened in Athens with our fans, crowd trouble at Wigan and when we played Cardiff in the cup. I would say there's zero chance of the F.A or Police agreeing to standing area's when the spectre of professional hooliganism is bubbling under the surface of the English game.
