The media are gonna spunk themselves over this. Put this way, if my company started looking for alternatives for my job... i'd hand my notice in there and then! And i'm deadly serious about that, i'm very principled. I believe Rafa is as well.

Now my position would clearly never make the press, but that obviously exacerbates the position. Loads will see this post as a grand overreaction, but IMO i would not be surprised if Rafa walked off the back of this. The only caveat for me is he'd be waving goodbye to 6m compo (and maybe this is part of Hick's plan). Also obviously - the love i believe Rafa has for the club. I don't actually think Rafa will stay for the 6m he'd be losing... he'll walk into a top job in Spain.

The thing is this is no way to bury the story - which is what we need.

I'm not against G&T and I still want to give them time to settle in and get used to how LFC and the British press work. However they are not helping themselves and if they don't sort the financing of teh stadium soon then it is going to be hard to continue to have any faith in them.

I do think people need to calm down on here though.

Dave, do you not think that if they really are behind Rafa then coming out with a story like this is not the best way to back him/show support? This undermines the manager no matter how much they may say they have faith in him. These guys have to be more shrewd than this, or have to be better advised. Or preferably have to **** off.
