Acted the cunt, well he probably is someone who wears his heart on his sleeve, and he's a football man, so he doesn't need to play tricks with us supporters. He'll tell it like it is.

He's the manager of the club Dan, he's entitled to have his say on football matters. If they've backed down on previous promises, he's entitled to voice his concerns. At least it's not hypocrisy.

Personally, i'm really pleased that G&H have said this because it brings the whole affair to a head.

It shows they don't want Rafa and now the Klinsman option has gone they felt they had to go public... what a pair they are. Poor Rafa, whilst I'm sure he was very much aware of the talks this public humiliation is appalling and he deserves so much better.

On a different note, all those who said everything was hunky dory have had an eye opener. So too those who thought the media was so ante LFC they had made the whole thing up. Its a lesson for the future, whilst much of the press do either make stuff up much of it doesn't and when every paper runs with a story more often than not there is something to it.

just playing devils advocate here and thinking some things out. Rafa has been the subject of approaches for much of the time he's been manager. what if he's instigated them. agent and contacts speaking to contacts etc. he could have used this as leverage to get funds to buy the likes of kuyt etc prior to the texans.

and the yanks have a stance of 'we won't be bullied like that by anyone' - not unreasonable. so rafa after the CL threw had his outburst and again recently. the point is they seem to work with different urgencies and they have pre-empted rafa's previous tactic of saying 'look, i've an offer from Real Madrid and they'll back me...'

besides, who else is available as a manager this jan? perhaps it would be an initial 6 month contract for klinsmann until the summer when, and im convinced they're going to do this, they hire jose.


its interesting that its A) Klinsmann and B) Real Madrid that are mentioned. Why else? I think this is a message to Rafa to shut up and not to try his old tricks of leaking stories of Real being interested. If Rafa does employ these tactics, it could be a reason for a rift with Parry who takes exception to it. It would irritate me I reckon.

Something is clearly still amiss and why oh why is all this in the press? STILL! The leaks to the media are deliberate and they are messages between rafa and the owners. I am very suspicious that the yanks really do have a point that rafa should stop playing a media game.

Disclaimer: For all you sensitive souls out there, as above, im trying to think out scenarios here and discuss them on a forum. I don't want it to be true but its possible. I'm not agitating for mourinho nor supporting 'yanks versus rafa' or other such nonsense. I want Rafa to lead us to no 19 sooner rather than later.

It is a farce this is... This is no way of showing support to a manager by saying you where holding talks with another manager, but he got another offer - so we are going to stick by our current guy!!

They could just have gone out and say that Raffa has their full support - no more no less, no need to talk about Klinsmann etc. Especially after Klinsmann denied the whole thing just a couple of day ago. Nothing would have been easier than showing support!!

This is basically an open offer to Raffa to hand in a resignation, as they are saying they are considering other options... I'm actually laughing at how pathetic this whole thing is becoming. We are an absolute laughing stock. No wonder we've been playing crap, all this tension is unsettling the club - evidenced by Hyypia saying he wants the off field issues sorted out.

G&H took their time doing their due diligence on the club, it's a real shame that Moores and Parry weren't as exacting. Moores is in the running to be hated by BOTH the Merseyside clubs - no mean feat!
