I'm amazed that you can a see long term future for Rafa at the club after they have basically admitted that they were actively looking at replacing him. You don't see this as de facto underming Rafa, or at the very least an attempt to undermine him? If they backed him why admit openly that they talked to Klinsmann about replacing Rafa? Either Hick is stupid, or he saw this as a way to intensify the pressure on Rafa to walk.
