Fair comment , my view is that if I was the owner and had splashed out 200 million quid or whatever it was and then have the coach go off on one, I would have canned him there and then.

Is sacking a CL winning manager for a relatively minor indiscretion the Liverpool Way? It isn't in my book.

There is no reason that whatever external factors there are the manager and players shouldn't be able to raise themselves. Even towards the end of the Ged reign whatever you say about the football we put together the results to qualify for the CL and that didn't look likely for a while earlier in the season.

I've had enough of the speculation and bull****. Who knows what the long term future has in store for our great club - we need to back the team and the team needs to start playing for the supporters and the manager.

I seriuosly believe that The yanks are that stupid that they would think their interview with the Local LIVERPOOL newspaper was to help clear the air.Their stupidity has backfired on them.I think most on here don`t take into account that there is a culture difference where the American people don`t dissect and analyse every word.The English do as does their press.I really do believe there was no malice in their intention.

I`d hazzard to guess that Rafa spoke to them before their interview and that Rafa knows(was told) that he would be replaced if we didn`t qualify for the last 16 of the CL.

I also believe that Rafa is safe as long as we finish 4th and Challenges for a trophy.If not then the Yanks are entitled to look for an Alternative.
