Watching LFC tv now - interesting to hear the positive spin from Mr.Johnson again on how the owners are going to do 'exciting things' with the club and give them time etc.
He and Claire also pointed out the fact that George was so funny at the dinner and so honest and Foster also said they're really not pulling the wool over our eyes. Furthermore, he said the owners HAVE BACKED RAFA and that's the end of it now.
Carry on Mr.Johnson I'm listening..
Your too good to be true, can't take the ball off you you got a heavenly touch, you pass like Sounness to rush. And when we're pissed in the bars we thank the Lord that your ours

Well now that George and Foster have said they're not trying to pull the wool over our eyes, I feel much more reassured. :whatever: How much more bull**** do these clowns want to feed us?
Hicks is a dosy cunt. I wouldnt be surprsed if he thinks that what he has said is meant to win us over. As if to say, 'well, we were gonna **** him off but we arent now so arent we great'. He can do one. Tomorrow night will be fun.
All he's done is give the press more stories to hit Rafa over the head with.
TOM Hicks and George Gillett held a secret meeting with Jurgen Klinsmann to line him up as the next manager of Liverpool FC.
Hicks today insisted the talks would not have resulted in the immediate dismissal of Rafael Benitez and that Klinsmann was only "an insurance policy."
He told the ECHO: "We attempted to negotiate an option, as an insurance policy, to have him become manager if Rafa left for Real Madrid or other clubs that were rumoured in the UK press.
"Or in case our communication spiralled out of control for some reason."
I still think that these remarks were made with good faith or American stupidity,no malice.
I believe that rafa knows klinsmann was involved and was told he would be replaced if he was knocked out of an easy CL group and will not be outraged, upset or surprised.
Clueless clowns - yap yap yap yap yap yap....your words have proved hollow and poisonous, so from now on you will be judged on action alone, and you are now in the negative, far below zero.
Gobby ****s, I don't trust them AT ALL. :whatever:
--== Because the gang and the government is no different ==--
The media made up everything from that point forward. They made up that we were going to fire him, that I told him to shut up, that there was a battle between Benitez and the Americans. It's really funny to watch."

I'd go further - They're outside my circle of trust
he was set to walk a few weeks back after demanding he was backed. Hicks and Gillett looked at possible replacements should Rafa walk.
He interviewed Klinsmann BEFORE Rafa's outburst...
And he's moaning about the press making up ridiculous rumours about him and GG selling up but in the same interview claims the reason they interviewed Klinsmann was because of the rumours in the press linking Rafa with Madrid... The guy is full of ****ing ****e.

Why on earth would you assume the remarks were down to american stupidity?! mind boggling - unless he meant to say that "we never offered Klinsmann Rafas job" but just forgot the never part. Now that would be embarrassing.
