I'm enraged by what I've heard today. I'm no blind faith rafa fan (as most of you on here know) - but you simply do not treat an incumbent manager like this. I'm not naive enough to think it doesn't go on (i.e. approaching other managers when the current one is still in post) but yo simply don't announce it to the world. This is just yet another example of why this Hicks / Gillett combo is just not right for LFC. I wanted DIC at the beginning and right now I'd take them without hesitation.

Over the past few years did you want Moores to sell his shareholding to the highest bidder, in the hope that we could supposedly "compete" in the new age of greed is good Sky hyperbole nonsense?

You wanted the club to chase the filthy lucre and look where it's got us, just like the mancs, just like the chavs, we've sold the club to business men who are only in football to make money.

And why did this happen? The club has been poorly run, but we have, as fans, to take some share of the blame on this one. The pathetic clamouring (re glory hunting) for more money played it's part.

Now this club exists to make money, not win trophies, just like some many others in the Premiership.

I've always been of the opinion that Moores should've never sold the club. The day he did the LFC we all knew died and became just another corporate entity.

I'd have rather we went the way of another Villa and won **** all with one of ours in charge, the club would've still have been ours.

So quite a few of you got what you wanted, more money, but now it's not enough and you've decided to distract yourselves (blame?) the yanks for being clueless about football/not putting in enough cash/apparently not backing Rafa. "We want DIC now". I bet you do you pathetic ****ing cunts.

I'll be honest, I wanted a new stadium but I wanted it to be a groundshare for the very reasons you talked about. i wanted a Moores/Morgan joint venture with a groundshare because I felt it was the only way to keep people who love the club in control. I know Moores and Morgan don't get on and it wouldn't have been easy but if they love the club as much as they say it could have worked.

I also wanted a groundshare because it would have lowered the cost of the stadium thus enabling Moores & Morgan to stay in control. Whats the use in having an all singing all dancing stadium (if its ever built) if we exist purely to make some foreign Johnny shed loads of cash. I don't pay my cash for that, I pay it to see my team take on the best around.

Everyone moaned when people wanted a groundshare. I was mocked from pillar to post when I said i wanted Morgan on board. It wouldn't have been perfect but it would have been a damn sight better than what we've got now and better than we'll ever get in the future.

The LFC that Shanks, Peter Robinson, John Smith, Sir Bob, Uncle Joe and King Kenny built into the greatest club in the world is no more and it never will be again. All that lost to try to compete with a Russian billionnaire and half a billion worth of American debt down the M62.
