Clueless.Originally posted by cobain View PostTHE WHOLE PROBLEM IS IN PARRY! That incapable ****! Look at United. Do you know why they have so many supporters around the world? Do you know why they earn loads and loads of money? Because they know how to sell the brand! You can get United shirts everywhere, especially in Asia where the POTENCIAL money for LFC definitely exists!
And what about Liverpool? We have 2 ****ing stores, one in Liverpool and one in Chester. And that's about it. If you don't buy the LFC merchendise from there, there are only two options:
a) go to the offal online store to find out that nearly every article is out of stock or
b) go to Turkey or whatever and buy a fake shirt
And that's all because Parry isn't capable of running our club. If we had a proper chief executive, who knows what would happen. But as long as these parasites are in our club, nothing will change!

We are one of the most profitable clubs in the game, beaut. Not bad for club that hasn't won its domestic title for 18 years. There's only so many shirts we can sell on the back of past success and the 'Liverpool Way'Originally posted by cobain View Post**** ticket prices! Make sure that fans in Asia and the rest of the world can buy Liverpool shirts, Liverpool jerseys, whatever. That's where the REAL profit is!
Man Utd are the brand they are because they dominated ON THE PITCH for a good 15 years during a massive football boom.

Unfortunately there are no instant solutions to this.
We've only recently appointed a commercial manager to look at the whole brand issue so it will take some time for that to come on line
Equally a new stadium won't seen the benefits for atleast 5-6 yrs (assuming the ****er gets built!).
As far as I can see it will be the cups and 4th place for a few more years yet"I'm going to sine your pitty on the runny kine!"

I have to take issue with you on your statement about the stadium not showing benefits for at least 5 - 6 years. From day one in Ashburton Grove Arsenal doubled their match day income.Originally posted by Biff View PostUnfortunately there are no instant solutions to this.

I feel your pain, we all do, but let's face it, a lot of that post is total ****ing nonsense! The fact that it's passionate and from the heart doesn't cover that up! Maybe it's partly motivated by your bleating defence of the Americans over the past few weeks, **** knows.Originally posted by CharlieMansonsSquint View PostLet me ask you all a question...
Over the past few years did you want Moores to sell his shareholding to the highest bidder, in the hope that we could supposedly "compete" in the new age of greed is good Sky hyperbole nonsense?
If the answer is yes then your pathetic rants against the yanks make's you a hypocrite.
Let me explain....
You wanted the club to chase the filthy lucre and look where it's got us, just like the mancs, just like the chavs, we've sold the club to business men who are only in football to make money.
And why did this happen? The club has been poorly run, but we have, as fans, to take some share of the blame on this one. The pathetic clamouring (re glory hunting) for more money played it's part.
Now this club exists to make money, not win trophies, just like some many others in the Premiership.
I've always been of the opinion that Moores should've never sold the club. The day he did the LFC we all knew died and became just another corporate entity.
I'd have rather we went the way of another Villa and won **** all with one of ours in charge, the club would've still have been ours.
So quite a few of you got what you wanted, more money, but now it's not enough and you've decided to distract yourselves (blame?) the yanks for being clueless about football/not putting in enough cash/apparently not backing Rafa. "We want DIC now". I bet you do you pathetic ****ing cunts.
Yanks, Arabs, Martians, it won't ****in matter, this club's soul has been stripped out forever, it doesn't mean the same anymore, the more it changes the less I like it. Same goes for football in general.
Honestly, I hope DIC ****ing do one (assuming they are back on the scene). I don't want their ****ing oil millions, and that's assuming they'd splurge on us, it's laughable that that's the last straw that the glory hunters are clutching at these days. Really? These cunts are going to save the club? Hilarious.
So that's the price we've paid for trying to compete with the oligarchs and the other bored billionaires, hoping to make a profit while having a laugh with their mates "hey look I own a football club, aint it cool?".
Absolutely fed up with it all, especially this forum, and I’m partly responsible for that, I started a joke of a ****ing thread the other day, and behaved like a spineless stupid little ****ing gob****e because I wasn’t happy with the performance against Middlesborugh, like I expect us to have some sort devine right to win these games, it pathetic behaviour, just as all you “Rafa’s going to be sacked” drama queen cunts should be ashamed of yourselves. SHUT THE **** UP YOU WHINGING CUNTS.
Had enough of this ****ing bull****. Time to concentrate on the actual football, where it really ****in counts. Luton tomorrow, let’s **** these mockney ****ing ****houses, c'mon you reds.
Rant ****in over.
So in the infamous words of Delia Smith “Let’s be having you cunts”.
First off, all the takeover talk bored me ****ing rotten, it's NOT football, and it didn't interest me that much. In an ideal world Moores would have been as rich and saavy as the likes of Randy Lerner and taken us forward himself, we would have all wanted that. Unfortunately he wasn't, he knew it, we knew it and shamefully we had to move on.
We didn't want Moores to, "sell his shareholding to the highest bidder", all we wanted was to sell to someone that could take us forward, new stadium and all, and most of all 'compete'... in the Liverpool way. On that, I hope and still have faith that Moores didn't want to sell to the, "highest bidder" either for that matter... "you only have one chance to sell the family jewels".
We, as fans (even Moores wanted us to compete at the top) and for us to do that we needed more financial clout (part of that would be raising the seating capacity and having the resources to do so). The ultimate goal is to win no. 19th and for us to do that we simply had to move on in terms of ownership, that was clear and incontrovertible! So therefore, for you to call anyone who shared that common goal a hypocrite several months down the line makes you either delusional, pathetic, a **** or possibly even all three.
Hicks has began his tenure in unspeakably classless fashion. Right now i'd take a ****ing Bates/Risdale combo over that ****ehawk, nevermind DIC or some other shower of cunts. So you see i don't think anyone actually believes DIC are waiting in the wings (i certainly don't - i'm of the opinion that when DIC leave the table that's it, a line is drawn) they, we, are just desperate that LFC get rid of this ****.
Surely you can understand the frustration, and understand why people on these boards have been suitably miffed. The last ****ing thing needed right now is for one of our own to turn on us... Like you say, and where we finally agree, let's regroup, i'm sure we've all had enough of this ****e, batton up the hatches, "time to concentrate on the actual football, where it really ****in counts. Luton tomorrow, let’s **** these mockney ****ing ****houses, c'mon you reds."

If a big bluenose fan would have bought us then he would probably have acted in almost the same way as G&H. Stab the manager in the back and trying to get in a bad manager instead without any experience at all. Pay for everything thanks to loans that will be put on the club. Making the club look even worse than Newcastle.
He must really hate us.Just believe and you never know what will happen.
According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

shinawatra seems a decent lad with a genuine interest in football....no offense but that's the thickest comment i've read in a long time
Sorry but investment at this level is going to be primarily a business venture.
and you're so right about the foreigners, the english are so much better at business, running clubs, and football in general. that's why the top clubs are all owned and managed by englishmen and the national team are on top of the world

Yes I acted a fairweather beaut the other day.
But this isn't about that. I'm talking about the direction of the club here. Yes, my post is complete and utter drivel in parts, I'm a ****e writer and perhaps I didn't get my point across well enough.
Every day I come on here and I see people moaning, bleating on that Rafa "hasn't had enough to spend" or that the owners aren't fawning over them, as if they get up in the morning to re-assure them re things LFC.
Most people wanted the club to move in a different direction. I didn't, or rather I didn't want the culture of LFC to change. I'll admit now that that's complete bollocks, it's changed completely in recent years, but now with foreign owners in charge there's even less capability for me to relate to the club, and that affinity continues to dwindle. This saddens me, and people's attitudes towards the club "what it should be doing for me” type bollocks is what angers me.
BTW I disagree that we needed the extra financial clout to compete on the pitch, has Arsene Wenger needed it? Admittedly the stadium issue puts my viewpoint on this argument in jeopardy. But surely Moores could've financed it by putting debt on the club? And paid it off with the extra revenue when it's built, meanwhile Rafa improving us slowly but surely on a reasonable budget.
Or perhaps I'm just a dreamer cunt and I should jack football in all together.I hate Polanski

He must really hate us? grow up.
Is Klinsmann a bad manager? He has years of football experience and knows the game inside out, Kenny didn't have any managerial experience either if I remember correctly! Why have a massive club like Bayern taken such a risk on a novice???
I'm not saying he would have been right for us but he's far from bad, more unproven.Always borrow money from a pessimist. He won’t expect it back. Oscar Wilde
