    Rafa offered £5m

Please take with a pinch of salt....

A relative and long time Liverpool fan of mine as just returned home having spent 9 months working over in the states setting up a business for one of the leading sports retail companies (as it goes we can't name names etc.. etc...) how ever he has said that whilst over there he got chatty with a few cockneys who turns out to be LFC fans also. They where helping my uncle set up this new store and they where meant to be sorting out the sports cafe bar with all the wide screen TVs and so on...

Any how the conversation went onto LFC as it normally did every day and one of the cockneys mentioned something he had heard about Rafa being given a golden handshake type of payment, How ever he would only be given the payment if he kept quiet about the fact lfc where looking to replace him until the season had finished.

Now like all idle speculation I did not read too much into it until I hear that Both H&G met with Klinsmann and verbally offered him Rafa's job.... Now I'm thinking for certain that Rafa will walk out in the summer with a fat paycheck and walk straight into a job at Madrid.

    OK, Said it...

I'm there to be shot at as usual.
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

RM have made their best start ever. They'd be insane to get rid of him.

Ta for passing it on. Not implausible but if secrecy was the key then why's Hicks come out and revealed all?

Don't believe any of that tbh.

        Thanks for sharing though.

Could it have something to do with the fact the Bayern had mentioned it already and that maybe it would look better had H or G come and and try to dress it up a little to make it seem like they are doing to be nothing more then just a precautionary measure?.

          Just a thought.

I'm sorry but that really sounds like it was taken from football rumours.I can't see that as factual i'm afraid.

I know where ya coming from mate as I too was unsure, how ever it has now left me questioning whether it could in fact be true, or at least have some truth too it.

I'm sure those that know me from here and Koptalk will clarify that I never post a rumour off as being my own, I always add C&P too it and say where it came from.

I just wanted to share what I had been told by my uncle.... Like I said take it or leave it....

                Either way time will tell.

                  Thanks for the info.
But I am 100% certain it is bull****.
Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'

"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

                  * After Tommy Lawrence had let in a fluke goal between his legs

To be honest I wouldn't be surprised if it was true.

It would certainly coincide with the dip in form over the last month.
                    Oh I don't know.

Still it makes you wonder, or atleast it has me.

They don't have 5million to pay Rafa off with
