Regardless of whether Rafa will sue them or not (and my guess will be that he won't) it certainly seems as though Rafa will stand firm and is in the mood for a fight. And why shouldn't he be? if it counts for anything Hicks revelations today will ensure Rafa has the fans firmly on his side.

That's constructive dismissal creating a situation to force somebody out without actually firing them.
I know nothing about the law admittedly, but this sounds very flimsy to me, especially so if there is no written documentation on the subject, recorded minutes of an official meeting, etc.

It's basically taking Hicks at his word, a kind of my word against yours scenario.

I'm behind Rafa all the way, very dissapointed with recent events, no jumping up and down from me, just very sad!

Yes, as I said before they aren't like me and you. They have big fat expensive lawyers who set out big fat expensive contracts for big fat amounts of money that stipulate all kinds of break clauses and compensation paid in the event of them.

Kind of unrelated but we know Rafa is incredibly stubborn (walking away from Valencia over lack of support, picking an unchanged team for what would have been the 100th game he'd rotated)

I cant help but feel Rafa is only staying at the club because he's too stubborn to let them force him out..doesn't bode well.

Yeah, but why the hell should he walk away?
He hasn't been sacked as yet and he's still under contract.

right now mate, god knows. Sat here not knowing where the road leads for LFC. Am amazed that the owners have gone down this route. They must have balls of steel to get rid of Rafa knowing how the fans will react.

Doesn't need to be anything written to my knowledge mate he's come out and undermined the man in public and basically told him you are gone when we find someone.
