      This is a ****ing joke.
      It is time for the fans to make themselves heard methinks.
      Starting at tomorows game would be a start.
      Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:

            I'm not surprised that they approached another manager, that sort of stuff happens all the time within clubs, it's rare that the owners then go and tell the press about it though.

            I'm just flabbergasted at the way in which Rafa has been treated by the two owners. It defies belief, it really does.

            They surely knew the implications of telling the press that they had meetings with a potential new manager?

            As you said, Dan, no one knows where the road leads for LFC anymore. That's the scary part of it all.

            The owners have hardy given us cause for optimism and it's hard to just blindly trust when we know that they've been dishonest in regards to a few issues.

                But he hasn't.

                In the same article he said that he and Gilette are now backing Rafa, or words to that effect.

                Of course will be interested to hear what Rafa has to say before the game, doubt he'll say anything, it doesn't warrant even commenting on it's so ridiculous, and if he does say something he'll most likely rubbish this stupid suing the owners story.

                              As i said before. There's six million reasons why Rafa wont walk. Hicks and Gillett are obviously trying though so that they don't have to pay up.

                                What employment tribunal is going to look at this kind of contract? The dispute terms will already be set out. The ETs are set out to protect the likes of you and me from employers, not from people with fantastic legal representation and huge compensation clauses.

                                I'm not going to get into a legal argument with you about this mate, if Rafa "sues" I'll eat my fez and put the video on youtube for you to see.
