There is probably one clip of him on youtube. I've seen him play many times. He has lots of stepovers and tricks etc. He has a similar style of play to Quaresma. I didn't say he's as good as him because he's not.

Funny that no one has mentioned Mancini. We have been linked with him a few times now.

I don't watch much Italian footy mate so I forgot about him. Good shout though, he is a pretty good player from what I have seen

Don't think there are too many 'wingers' about the Seria A anyway

How's Castelen coming on these days? Remember being impressed by him. As for Camoranesi, personally I think he's dog****

Maxi Rodriguez was great at the WC

Young lad from Torino called Alessandro Rossini.

he is a sensational player. More of a Hleb type than a true winger....but he's a joy to watch. Cracking left foot on him, very good close control, quick acceleration, and a stocky build.

Pasquale Foggi is also a good winger (we have been linked to him before)

Jonas Gutierez is also an option for us. He is becoming quite a player. He has broken into the Argie national team on the left now.

I don't think Torres is suited to that role personally, you really need someone who can dominate in the air and though Nando is a good header of the ball I'd rather he was attacking crosses than challenging big center-halfs for high balls.

I appreciate that there is a long list of apparently decent wingers on this thread but are any of them "world class"?

                        very few world class wingers.

                        Ronaldo- never going to sign
Ribery- would cost well over 20mill
Robinho- no chance he leaves Madrid now
Ronaldinho- if we had the money he would be an option, but we dont
                        Messi- no chance

Thats about it in my books.

Only one of them is available. But he would cost to much.

We need to get the next "world class" wingers. Thats the only realistic chance we have.

Jonas Guitierez looks a good option, and wouldnt cost the earth
