We all know that contingency plans are put into place in football by every club. However, not every clubs owners come out and say publically that they have spoken to another inexperienced manager to take over the team. It's just ridiculous. They may have spoken to klinsman but did they really think it would be a good idea to announce this to the media.

It undermines the manager and the team and is totally unprofessional.

They must be more stupid than i thought.

My guess - no way. In fact, I'll go as far as saying I won't believe anyone who claims otherwise.

I'm still desperate to hear from Rafa himself about yesterday's revelations. That will be far more enlightening than all the speculation.

I'm also intrigued to see if we buy any more players in this window. (actions speak louder than words)
You imply you're tired of all the speculation yet you speculate about how people would react if a certain hypothetical and not entirely analogous situation presented itself and how you wouldn't believe anyone who disagrees with your perspective anyway.

What is the point of that?

      Anyway, I disagree.

Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

        It's a new subject....

Moores used to get a lot of ****, particularly about selling up, but also not actually spending much of his own money (he was recompensed for Kuyt), and the stadium issue which has been going on for years.

But never with the same vitriol as these guys are getting. I'd suggest it was because he was 'one of our own' (throws up) and loveable when interviewed.

He also, as I recall, quite openly looked for a new manager whilst Gerard was still around....

At a football club, there's a holy trinity - the players, the manager and the supporters. Directors don't come into it. They are only there to sign the cheques.

Why the hell did G&H unveil a stadium design that they couldn't afford, and waste more of our ****ing time and more of the club's money? Weren't we initially supposed to be in the new ground two years ago? Now, we'll be lucky to have a new stadium four years from now.
To earn them more time. There is no way that they could come up with the money at the time they presented their first fancy new stadium, they are businessman so of course they knew that they couldn't afford it but it bought them more time.

                IMO.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.
