Just slightly irratates me that Torres plays now but has been rested in some other games.

However, I will say that I like the rotation policy you refer to, start the big guns, win the games, and then sub them. Maybe we should do this more often in the league?

We've been ****in bollox lately. And this comp is our best chance of a bit of silverware. Playing a strong XI and therefore injecting them with some confidence is the best way to go IMO.

Um,i do believe we are in the last 16 of and certain european trophy!

Fair points. I guess with our current predicament we shouldn't be taking any chances. A big win could contribute to our season turning around.Certainly agree with Shanks that confidence is key.

Rafa has picked a very strong team, so at least if that does happen he wont be getting the same stick as after the Burnley game.

It would be compared to the end of the world, with many regular Est posters being unable to dicipher which outcome would be worse.

This is what should happen against supposedly inferior teams, best team out then when we are 5 or 6 up take off players. ****ing easier than playing a replay eh?

Anyway, I thought Rafa may put out a strong team hence my prediction of 13-1 with crouch scoring six. You will see

                      haha

I've just been looking at the team sheet and if we dont win tonight I'll shave my pubes and glue them to my eyelids

This is going to be a good laugh

I fancy a big score tonight, put a few quid here and there with first goalscorer/scorecast. If Torres,Babel or Crouchy scores first and then we hammer them, i`ll be happy.

Yes, I agree with that. I would have preferred to see players like Gerrard and Torres start certain games they were on the bench for and then taken off if the game was won, rather than start on the bench and brought on if things got hairy.

Never mind, not a night for criticising Rafa's past selections, but getting behind the team and the manager and being united against these yankee ****ers making a mockery of our club

We dont play again until monday anyway so no reason not to play a strong team, i'd imagine Swansea/Havant will be a different story with West Ham away in that midweek though.
