I think, perhaps with the exception of CR, that any fan of any PL club would swap any player they have to get Torres. He is one of those players who transcend club bias. My Blue****e mates and Manc work aquaintances positively ****ing gush over him. His goal celebrations freak me out totally. They are so understated it's as if he's saying "So ****ing what. That's what I do!!" This lad ain't gonna suffer major dips in form. Like CR he's simply too good for that. Torres is a GUARANTEED 25 goals a season, simple as. I doubt if there are 10 of those in the world at the moment.Thanks FT for coming.

Torres is what you would call a Liverpool player. Total and utter class, but also modest, hard working and respected.

Compare him to Ronaldo. No contest if every department!
