Sell Crouch, sell Voronin and sell Kuyt.

Then buy ONE striker and play him with Torres with Babel as backup. Or failing that, also buy a link man who can create chances and score them as well.

I'd rather see two top drawer strikers with Babel as back up instead of Torres with 2 or 3 that don't know where the goal is.
Twin boys - now arriving late August 2008.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Agree totally. It's a bit of a gamble regarding injuries but then there's every chance we WON'T get any strikers injured for any length of time. I'd take that gamble and if it happens then you just have to improvise. Gerrard up front, give a reserve team forward a go or whatever. Having the mound of ****e we've got merely dilutes our resources IMHO.
I have one word to offer - honesty. I couldn't be devious if I tried. Joe Fagan.

Swap deal involving Kuyt and Huntelaar should be definately looked at.

We definately got the wrong Dutchman.

A bit like the old Blisset and Barnes story!

theres no way there will be a reshuffle like that in our sqaud, i think rafa will sell crowch and veronin and keep kowt, given that there will be more takers for crowch. that gives us babbel, turres, kowt and another striker to be brought in.yes i know they are spelt wrong...veronin ffs its VORONIN!!!!

Diego would be an excellent choice.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

Ive never wanted a player to be good so much in all my life mate

I am still convinced that if we played him in and around the 6 yard box like feyenoord did he`d be a completely different player to what were seeing now.

I dont think its going to happen now like as rafa has convinced himself that he has to use him in the Beardsley/Dalglish role and his confidence seems to have been completely sucked out of him.

But I will never hear a bad word said about him because he puts his heart and soul into every second he is on the pitch for us, something a lot of our other (more talented) players could not be accused of

noticed on tuesday that he was getting to be a bit of a crouch style laughing stock - that time where he didn't pass to a much better placed team mate cos he was dying to get a shot away was typical of him in the box now.

I can't see it ever happening for him now, but when [not if] he leaves, I'll be looking out for his teams results every weekend - something that can't be said for most of the failures we've had over the years.

Do you think he's got the required killer-instinct?

                    I don't.

Agree with everything else though. I really want the lad to score...it's difficult watching him at the moment. I don't like to see any of our boys suffering and he's definitely suffering right now.

I'd say that we should play him against Havant but if he doesn't score in that match his confidence would get worse!

                        True.

To be fair he looked sub-standard in both games against Luton. As I said...it's unpleasant to witness.

I think if we had played him right up front from the start of his lfc career then yes, i think he has.

But its that far gone now, even if you were to do that his confidence has waned too much and too many people have formed an opinion that it couldnt happen anyway.

He WILL go at some point in the not too distant future of that I am sure, but I will not feel he let us down (even though I should) I will feel more that we let him down.

I think he is the first player ive ever said that about.

It's taken me a while to come round to the idea that he's not preforming because I'm desperate to see him succeed but he's not doing it, is he?

He's always to wide, to deep or just to far away from the ball when it's in the 18 yard box.

He looks like Heskey did his last two seasons for us. Working hard, played out of position and stopped believing in himself.

I`ll eat my own **** before I compare him to heskey. He deserves more respect.
