Talk about dedication ......Originally posted by Sadgeek View PostThanks for the congrats on our (H&W) website lads, it means a lot to our crowd to have other fans complimenting on the result. Makes all those long wintery nights standing on an away terrace with 10-20 of only the die-hards for company worth while.

Cheers mate. I hope you enjoy your day at Anfield and this time you'll have 5-6000 of you there in full voice I'm sure.Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

You heading up to it?Originally posted by Sadgeek View PostRumours abound that we've sold 5200 of our allocation already (tickets went on sale at 1pm today)
Unfortunately, I'm afraid a lot of Pompey fans will be jumping on the bandwagon
possibly stopping regular Hawks fans from getting tickets
Enjoy it if you are

What is your problem, you don't think that a non league team beating a 1st division team is a massive achievement. You really know nothing about football do you. It's a massive achievement and now because of their hard work they get to face a team 123 places above them in the league, this is what the FA cup is about, the chance of minnows have to beat teams much bigger than them and face opposition they would normally have no chance of playing.Originally posted by carheex View PostWhat confuses me is that people are giving H&W credit for getting their number drawn out of the bag right after Liverpool's, which is all this is really about. That's purely coincidence and isn't worthy of numerous threads and hostility simply because I don't recognise it as a massive achievement. "Well done" for beating Swansea but that's not really worthy of all this hysteria is it?? I wouldn't even put it down as a "giant killing" - more like a small person defeating a slightly less small person.

Well done to H&W for a brilliant performance in midweek.
I'm pretty sure they're cacking their pants about playing us though, their players must be ****ting their grids.Klopp on LFC vs MUFC (March 9th 2016) - "This is why I love football. This is why we watched it when we were young. I can still not have enough of it."

Bill shankly to Tommy Smith after he'd turned up for training with a bandaged knee:
'Take that poof bandage off, and what do you mean YOUR knee, it's LIVERPOOL'S knee !'
"Sorry, boss, I should have kept my legs together," said Lawrence. "No, Tommy, your mother should have kept her legs together!," replied Shankly.

Loving this..
From a Manc::whatever:European capital of culture...
Thats the only title they have won in 18 years, lmao.
You guys have 333 million United fans willing you on at Anfailed !!!
Good luck guys - if you score just 1 goal it adds to the comedy we have already seen this year at Liverpool.
Hope Hicks hasn't sold the ground before you get there
Havant Fan repliesExcuse my rudeness, but would you mind naffing off?
Since we beat Swansea we've had dozens of wonderful messages from Liverpool fans wishing us luck and treating us with a degree of respect that a large number of Swansea fans should take note of.
I have no doubts that, had we drawn any other Premier club, we would have been flooded with derisory and condescending postings by now.
My opinion of Liverpool fans gone through the roof since Wednesday. Postings such as yours merely drag your club's name even lower.

A team in Conference South betweeen the league leaders of league 1? If it isn't a giant killing act considering one is 3 divisions below the other and made up of a group of total part-timers especially in the context of the FA cup then what the hell is it?
This will make their club, even if they lose 10-0 they will gain £600,000 ish in gate receipts alone. I'm made up for them and hope they have a cracking day out, this is what the cup is all about.
There is no need to be such an arrogant prick about itKurtangled in the McFadden thread 16/01/08
