What confuses me is that people are giving H&W credit for getting their number drawn out of the bag right after Liverpool's, which is all this is really about. That's purely coincidence and isn't worthy of numerous threads and hostility simply because I don't recognise it as a massive achievement. "Well done" for beating Swansea but that's not really worthy of all this hysteria is it?? I wouldn't even put it down as a "giant killing" - more like a small person defeating a slightly less small person.

Regardless of what you say, this should not be about how bad we where today, it's about how well Havant & Waterlooville did.

To take a giant all the way and regardless of the score, they scared the **** out of Rafa, they deserve all the plaudits they will get...

Havant & Waterlooville ... All I can say is ... If we would be motivated as they were today, we would win every competition we play in. Without a shadow of a doubt! Well done lads! You can be proud of yourselves!

As for Liverpool ... We came through, but the first half was probably the worst Liverpool performance I've ever seen.

Fair play to H&W fans as well for singing "stand up if you hate man utd" ... Unfortunately for them, we don't sing about our rivals if we don't play them, but the idea was class!

Hats off to 'em.

Our defending is a major worry and yet again we were found wanting on set pieces and aerial balls into our box, but for this game at least I'm prepared to sweep it under the carpet and move on.

Skrtel was a bag of nerves and will improve for this debut, and you have to factor in the craziness of the FA Cup.

5th round here we come, and well done Havant & Waterloovile - a magnificent effort.
