Just got back from the game.

What a great afternoon - what the FA cup is all about.

There 1st goal my daughter couldn't understand why we were clapping. No could i really.

Just a brilliant atmosphere - would say footy won today - glad we poor in a way as it made the game.

There players and fans are a credit.

Compare it to say when Cardiff came up no comparision.
Its times like these we learn to live again FF

This place will be busy late guaranteed.
I thought they were terrific, really brought the magic back to the cup and gave us a good fight, we could have had all the big guns on the field and battered them 10-0, but we wouldnt have learnt anything from that. This game made us scrap and get down and dirty to get the result, may just be the game to get the boys to pull their ****ing fingers out.

Magnificent performance. They should be hugely proud of themselves. As for us......

Listening to the game on the radio and was chuffed for H&W when they scored. They gave their all to produce a shock result and enjoyed their day in the spotlight. Was delighted with the crowd response and the applause they received - not sure they would have got that anywhere but Anfield.

Just got back from the game. After being slightly disappointed by the crowd on Monday, I thought they were ****ing brilliant today. Not in the 'non stop singing sense', just how :

                We applauded the team sheet
                They observed YNWA
                We applauded their goals!
LOL, at 'stand up if you hate Man U' to which they got a round of applause (and some people stoood up, each to their own and all that).
We gave all their subs a standing ovation as they left the field

All in all, I like to think we were the perfect hosts for what's likely to be the biggest (footballing) day of the team's life.

We won 13-2 although they did lead 2-1 after 30 minutes.Rafa brought on Gerrard and torres and Torres scored 6,Gerrard scored 3,Kuyt scored 3 and Benni scored three,It should have been 20.

What were you busy doing instead?

On second thoughts, I don't want to know.
                    .
Suppose you have a physicist and a sociologist standing at the side of a field, observing a set of events unfolding on the field. The physicist does [describes] it using the terminology of mass and velocity and frequency of radiation and the rest. And the sociologist does it by describing it as a rugby match.

May the Lord bless this post.

As I have stated before, this is a match that they will be telling their grandkids about.

They came to Anfield, scored the opening goal, led twice, and were applauded by everyone when the match was done. A cracking match with a ton of emotion that the press have already tried to turn into a negative, but today it was football that won.

                      Well in H&W.
Friendship is like peeing on yourself: everyone can see it, but only you get the warm feeling that it brings.

Just got home after a great weekend, where H&W fans and players have done themselves proud in many respects. Thanks to all at LFC, for showing what class is about

As for the "Stand Up If You Hate Man U", as much as I do hate them, I cannot for the life of me understand why some of our fans started singing this.

My guess is that this was the Pompey visitors :whatever: which we'll never see again at a H&W game.

Lucas: Rafa Benitez blast fired us on

Jan 28 2008 by Tony Barrett, Liverpool Echo

LUCAS LEIVA has revealed how some harsh words from Rafa Benitez inspired Liverpool's much improved second half showing against Havant & Waterlooville on Saturday.

After a shocking first half performance which saw the Reds go behind to their non-league opponents twice, Benitez read his players the riot act during the interval.

And Lucas believes it was the kick up the backside they needed as Liverpool went on to win 5-2 and earn themselves a place in today's FA Cup fifth round draw.

He said: "In the first half we played not so well but in the second half we played much better and we won so now we must prepare for the next game.

"We knew that we had to win the game because we are in the top division and they are five divisions below us but they worked really hard.

"We tried to play well but we made two mistakes in the first half and conceded two goals.

"Rafa said a lot of hard things to us at half-time and told us that we had to improve because we had conceded goals too easily and I think we did improve."

Lucas grabbed the first goal of his Liverpool career during that disappointing first half and the midfielder spoke of his pride at becoming the first Brazilian ever to score for the Reds.

And he is hoping his promising performance against Havant will increase his first team opportunities in the weeks and months to come.

"I'm really happy because I have been trying to get my first goal," he said.

"It's funny because on Friday I was having shots in training and I scored some goals and some of the players were telling me I would score the next day, and I did.

"It was a beautiful moment for me and I would like to dedicate the goal to my family because they are always right behind me.

"It was a special moment for me because I became the first Brazilian to score for Liverpool so I'm really, really happy.

"I'm not playing all that much but I am trying and hopefully I will get more opportunities."

Liverpool were today finding out who their opponents will be in the next round of the cup and Lucas is already dreaming of walking out at Wembley and maybe even getting his hands on the FA Cup – even though he knows full well how difficult it is to win the competition.

He said: "The FA Cup is really famous in Brazil and we need to try and win it because it is a very important competition.

"I watched Liverpool play in the FA Cup on TV when I was in Brazil and it always seemed like a great occasion so if we could win the cup now it would be really special.

"I've never played at Wembley so hopefully we will get there this season but we know that every game we play in the FA Cup will be difficult."
Thanks very much for being ‘This Mornings’ Farmer’
