    Bascombe

I know he's joined the NOTW, however I think he deserves a bit of props* because he's almost been spot on with his info. I remember his piece about the yanks in the echo last summer which alot of us disregarded, however it's come out to be true.

I agree totally. Bascombe has taken a lot of criticism this season but it seems he is being proven right.

      Credit where it's due.
It's not good because it's rude. It's good because it looks like it's good because it's rude.

He said Rafa was about to be sacked and if not now then at the end of the season. He was right. The info came from Rafa himself by the way. He deserves an apology to be honest.

Agreed (on the apology). A lot of reds owe him a pint.

Who told Rafa though? And why?

Wasn't it Bascombe who first mentioned Klinsmann?

"If Gerrard continues to play up front, leaving this lack of creativity and intelligence in Midfield, the season WILL be over by Xmas."

I still don't think we'll finish in the top 4 this season."

Maybe, just maybe, Bascombe saved Rafa when he wrote that G&H were about to fire him and replace him with Klinsmann. The crowd reacted and protested. Maybe G&H saw that firing Rafa would be a huge mistake and just dropped the whole idea.

If Bascombe hadn't reported about this, who knows what might have happened. Maybe one day, we would be informed via the official website that Rafa is no longer at Liverpool. They are fond of publishing foolish statements on the offal, ya know?

I know Bascombe works for that piece of garbage NOTW, but he is still a red. And if you ask me, I think he regrets leaving Liverpool Echo now. All the respect from fans vanished the second he walked out of Echo.

                Maybe ...

                  Noone. Rafa is Yoda.

I've been openly critical of Bascombe, but if that is the case then thanks Chris! As for regretting leaving the Echo, I doubt it. I'm sure he has ambition and he's got to move forward at some stage.
                        Forwards.......

He also said his family had to come first, more money and all.

I think Rafa was CB's source. Fair play to Chris for going with it but why wouldn't he.

Rafa is the one who called these pricks out IMO.
