Build up to the Villa game

Away from the Americans for a moment......... we have a game against Villa coming up.

After recent performances a marked increase will be needed to defeat a decent Villa side. Too many players are off-form but this is a good game to get back to a decent level.
Gotta watch Agbonlahor - he's very quick so maybe Skrtl will be given a chance?

Maybe so but Villa are far far better this season and are set up to play counter style. I think we will have to score twice AT LEAST to win this game...

1st time I've managed to get a ticket this season...****ing ticket orifice.

Will be a tough game- nowt other than a win will do.

I'm a bit worried about this game.

It must be very difficult for the Rafa and the players to remain fully focused at the moment. I fear that we may lack concentration and so either draw or even lose.

I think the 1st 20/30 minutes will be crucial, a goal apiece from Nando and Stevie and we will settle down and win by several goals, but 0 - 0 just before half time and I think we will concede and then struggle.

Villa are a decent team and not to be underestimated.

Would start with the same team as we played against Luton apart from bringing in Pepe and Aurelio for Itandje and Riise.

Although I reckon Riise will actually play. Aurelio isn't the tallest and Villa have scored a few from set pieces recently.

Villa have impressed me this season, really impressed me. This will be a tough one, we'll have to watch out for Young and Ahg....., very pacey players.

I'd a bit concerned about this game. Villa are a very pacey side so I think Rafa might gamble with Skrtl if he is fit enough.
