Well unless we can get another striker or attacking mid/winger what is he supposed to do if we just fail to score, we absolutely dominated Villa then we just didn't kill the game off, but not through lack of trying.

Some of the ****e posted in this thread is ****ing ridiculous, some people knee jerk bollocks is a ****ing joke. The criticism of Kuyt was beyond belief, he was one of our better players in the first half created numerous chances, but we wasted them time after time (cept the one Yossi scored) and he misses one chance and suddenly he is responsible for us not finishing this game off, he played a hell of a lot better than Torres did today.

The thing about Kuyt is he is a striker if he is not scoring the we are struggling for goals, remember goals win games, we are the fully dependent on Torres or hoping Beanyoun or Gerrard can add some goals.

He may have played 'well' in the 1st half but he never looked like scoring.

I watched this there during the game on my Iphone and its disgraceful some of the posts from people. Apart from the obvious person there was alot of personal attacks.

Come on guys, have a bit of respect for each other, this place is getting worse and worse as we go on. It used to be good here
