As good as mascherano was today i dont think he should have started...its a home game and alonso would have offered us more offensively. Kuyt -we all know whats he is capable off or rather incapable.Benayoun apart from the goal offered us nothing much...we lacked width to stretch villa both from midfielders and also fullbacks which also i thought contributed to torres being rather ineffective...the lad had not much space to work with , always seemed some defender close to him.

In short we were predictable and lacked imagination.

Pointing the finger of blame won't get us anywhere. It's there for all to see the club from top to bottom is in turmoil. The manager and the team are struggling to cope with what is going on. It's time for us all to rally around the club not slate the manager and players. The sooner the yanks **** off the better.

Makes sense. They are professionals, yes, but they are human. I know my own productivity and effectiveness at work has been affected by the off-the-pitch issues. And this has been going on for months.

Band together now until everything is resolved. We are enough chaos now without having to replace a manager or half the squad. The most important battle is Yanks out. then we can go back to arguing about who is fit to wear the shirt.

In fairness, it made me feel very depressed when the picture at one stage went to the sidelines and there were Babel, Crouch and Xabi, IMO 3 of our best players, and not on the pitch

it isnt about the ****ing goals....its about his inability to see that certain players out there were ****e and his tactics arent killing off teams who are there for the taking. and thats just ****ing worrying
