It's old news, that was done in November (when the team were winning). Hicks has admitted to that, if they don't perform on the pitch They and they alone will be the reason he gets sacked.
Not quite the same, most people on here's day to day job isn't spent being watched by 45,000 people at the building and millions on the tele! Pressure mate! Different!
They're not robots is the simple answer. There's emotions in the air and there's pressure, huge pressure. The managers job is uncertain (players such as Torres who signed for this club because of Rafa) ... It's all about sentiments mate and you've got to understand that. Players aren't controlled via a remote device.
I agree they are not robots (if only they were :d)
I am arguing that they can not blame the ownership shenanigans as the reason for this poor run, if Rafa is going to get sacked it's because they and they alone are not performing and winning games.
I have not idea why they are not winning, i blame the attitude of some players, the inferior skill of some players and bad decisions from the manager too.

if it was done when the team were winnig then what mindset does that put you in, 'even when we were winning they were still looking for a new manager', in any case it's more to do with when the news cam out and that was only last week

no ones saying that all those reasons aren't contributing to our current form, but all this off the field **** could be contributing to all that
It's all about fine margins. Two fluke goals. We would have won 1-0. For 10 minutes in the second half we were very good and were going for the jugular. I think this period of play when we couldn't score cost the players a lot of energy. And nervousness (with all the events happening off the pitch) does use energy levels. That's why we couldn't finish off the job. Match is finished, let's look at the next match.
I think he was quite good. But he didn't play to his level as I think he was back from injury. A stop start season for him again and it's hard getting any rhythm going in such circumstances.
