Thanjk you.

I think he was quite good. But he didn't play to his level as I think he was back from injury. A stop start season for him again and it's hard getting any rhythm going in such circumstances.
It's all about fine margins. Two fluke goals. We would have won 1-0. For 10 minutes in the second half we were very good and were going for the jugular. I think this period of play when we couldn't score cost the players a lot of energy. And nervousness (with all the events happening off the pitch) does use energy levels. That's why we couldn't finish off the job. Match is finished, let's look at the next match.
Spot on. There were positives in this game.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24

he wasn't quite good, while i agree he needs games to get into the rhythm, he was poor today, and to me an injury prone LB is not what we need
Don't think you can knock him tonight, did you see him to Arbeloa?
Clapping and saying well done,I even said it to my bro at the time, thats the SG we need to see.
He's on the field fighting,as he said,he and probably all the team, have to be careful what thye say!
I thought the same thing. I have wanted to see this for a while now. Last week I noticed that Stevie was not around Babel when he scored and Babel was absent when Stevie got his hat trick.

Anyone else notice this?
I think we all read far too much into little things like this.
RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFA! RAFAEL! RAFAEL BENITEZ!
Why? they the players still get paid, it doesn't effect their home life, the manager is still the same (just) so why should a change in ownership DIIRECTLY effect them?
e.g the Chief Executive of my work place is leaving, does it bother me? feck know, it annoys me that he's getting a huge payout but thats it.
It's crap, their job is on the pitch not off the pitch they should concentrate on winning some games and stop reading the paper and watching SSN.
That's a ridiculous comparison. It's not jus a change of ownership is it.
So if your new CE comes in and tries to change alot of things that have worked well and get rid of people that work well to bring in inexperienced management that could be a bit volatile and you don't know where you are from one day to the next, i suppose that wouldn't bother you either.
Also unless you're a professianal footballer I'd guess things are pretty different where you work anyway.
Nah I don't think the smile meant anything. More interesting was the clear admission that it is affecting the team. This Yank stuff is causing bloody chaos. If we wait much longer to sort this we'll be mid bloody table.
there's no doubt about it, since the specualtion hit us in Dec, we've been poor.
