There's a difference between emotional and inflammatory, and it does seem at times that there's almost a perverse delight taken, especially by one or two, when something goes wrong on the pitch.

Just had a pleasure of keeping up with things in the matchday thread as I have done in one shape or form for 5 years .... I can honestly say a large section of you make me sick ...

From Excellent play to sack everybody this is a joke was instantaneous, no taking into account how the goal came about, were we playing well no just everybody is ****, suddeny the yanks were not the problem it was Rafa... Kuyt who was outstanding first half suddenly was a donkey once again.

You lot are a joke ... have a word with yourselfs ... actually its probally too late .. same ****s who wrote us off in 2 european finals I bet Shocking ..

I'll take that draw, ok so we are out of the race .. we need to concentrate on europe, staying in the top 4 and the fa cup. Get some stability back in the club and bring in the final pieces of the puzzle

There was only one dude who was out of order, the others were just saying like they saw it.

We outplayed them but goals win games and killing games off is something that we have struggled with, sometimes we need to take the rose tinted glasses off and say it like it is.

Have to say I haven't read the match thread today as was watching the game at the pub, but it's usually a joke. Knee jerk doesn't cover half of it, and G&H issues shouldn't enter a match thread at all.

Tonights game was plain unlucky. Freak goal from Harewood followed by freak OG.

Anyone who makes it about anything else (particularly G&H) deserves an insta-ban!

There was a dramatic difference in the thread to be honest. One minute it was great football and the next it was we are ****e etc.

People are very nervous at present and are really worried about the club. Emotions are running high.

I thought the game today was jsut unfortunate. Up top, it went as expected. We aren't ripping teams apart and 2 was the max we'd score against villa. I thought we were unlucky at the back. 5 minutes of bad luck rather than ****e defending. Happens. Villa were widely tipped to get something here tonight and it happened. Move on, hopefully sign another quality striker and make sure we get 4th. And have a real go in the cups.

I really don't go on match threads anymore because they are pretty insane, however people get frustrated and vent so just chill and don't take it so personally

thought we deserved to win, but Villa are a dangerous side and will punish you if you dont kill them off, which is easier said than done. Overall a good performance and couple of players were a little below par and there was some outstanding performances ..Kuyt, Sami
