we are building as well tbh. wenger has won 3 league titles in 10 years. give rafa that amount of time and he'll easily do the same...

its in the balance. if we put a run together like we are capable of then we can put some distance between us and them, but depending on ifs isn't the most confidence generating thing in the world.

it's not a foregone conclusion. the competition this year is much stronger than its ever been in my view.

We need stability, irrespective of money. Rafa needs to continue his rebuilding and do it his way.

Agree with the last bit, Desert mate.

Wish I shared your optimism on the first bit.

I just dont see how we will, but i hope I'm wrong

Rafa needs a kick up the arse too if I'm being honest.

We have dropped points this season through mistakes he has made and some of his decisions has just been very strange.

Rafa must continue but he can't afford any more slip ups and he needs to cut his losses with some of his signings.

Its gonna be Fernando and Gerrard if I get my way!

Hold on. It's just fantasy because we drew too many games we should've won.

I really do believe that with another 1-2 class players we would've unlocked those teams and won. The points difference from where we are now to where we could be would be massive.

Is it as simple as that...on the surface...yes.

were in a bad state at the moment and it hasnt helped the team with all the off field antics, its bull**** to say it doesnt and shouldnt effect the team, well it does and it is occuring right now. i for one pray rafa stays at our club, the likes of torres, reina, alonso, arbeloa would all question their future at the club, and that is not a risk worth taking.

i cant see any other team being 4th other than us, from then on the only way is up, if our team is invested in that is.

I think that's just looking for excuses and as a lifelong Red I find it quite embarassing that people come up with this kind of stuff. For example, if my MD had fallen out with my manager at work, I can't for the life of me see why that would make my performance and that of my colleagues drop!

I've seen it happen at large corporations so I dn't know what you mean. One of the simplest ways is a demoralised manager, the whole team steadily do less. Problems high up ina company have a quick way of filtering down.

completely different situation your on about there mate. if torres/reina or any other of rafa's signings thought he may get the sack it would of course play on your mind. many players would have signed for us because of rafa, if he goes then there is massive uncertaincy surrounding many players futures. you surely cannot beleive think our drop in form is coincidental with all the **** that is going on at the moment?

My faith has absolutely capitulated in the squad. At the start of the season, especially after the Derby game i thought we'd win the title by more than 10 points. Now i just feel a bit dejected, especially with the whole owners situation compounding things. We need changes on and off the pitch, of that i know.
