It's a good point though. I guess most are going on the assumption that they would keep Rafa on.

could this not have been added to the other thread?
On awaiting Everton's arrival for a derby game at Anfield, Bill Shankly gave a box of toilet rolls to the doorman and said: "Give them these when they arrive – they'll need them!"

Wasn't it rumored, at the time when it was first mentinoned that DIC was in it again, that they would replace Rafa with Jose.

I just want our club in safe hand and gain stabilization. Other than that, I wont bother. Rafa needs to do something, if not, I think he should go after this season.

It is not out of the question but Ansari is known to love Rafa.

DIC may just give Rafa the tools he needs (money) and then let Rafa make his own noose so to speak.

I dont think they'll come in all guns blazing

                  Thats if they come in

"I think I'd have to say....Best of the Beatles"

I think that day may be gone forever. It's not a family business now and will need to perform like other businesses with the owners having no emotional ties or obligations.

Had the same thought a few days ago. Not so much with regard to RTK but in terms of fans generally.

If it came to a hypothetical choice what would be percieved as more important; keeping Rafa or getting rid of the Americans ?

Getting rid of the Yanks for me.... The Clubs more important then any one individual.... IMO

I wouldn't mind so much (although i would be disappointed) as long as they were honest. What i can't stand about G&H is the lies and the dishonerable way they have run the club.

Surely they should give him another year at least with further backing and stability. Rafa has got a lot started this season, he just needs 2-3 quality additions. Then we can all see how he goes and make a proper assessment.

This season is going sour in the league but bar a few games we have largely dominated and failed to take our chances (sound like Rafa, I know) due to lack of quality upfront and on the wings.

                              He deserves it IMO.
Nah. He won't win the Prem. You can quote me on that. - Sarb24
