Confirmed by the Echo. There are doubts about Gillett's commitment (just how I read it).

Guys, let the dust settle on that. Too many stuff doing the rounds at the moment and still we haven't heard anything from Hicks mouth.

"Sky and Setanta have the right to choose their games and it will be the same for everyone. So Mr Ferguson will not be complaining about fixtures and a campaign against United.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

H & G will only sell if it suits them. Fans can often affect a change in manager; everyone has seen that happen countless times over the years.

However it's different when it comes to affecting a change in ownership. Personally I don't believe any amount of protest will do anything. Scum fans were burning effigies of Glazer and it made no difference. Villa fans were complaining about Doug Ellis for years and years, and he finally only sold up when it suited him. We're stuck with these liars until they decide to go under their steam.
