First opposition in the new stadium

Now that the stadium (might be) on it's way it got me wondering who do we want to play in the Grand opening match?

Arsenal played brazil at the opening of the Emerites (I think) and I thought that sounds good but then I thought nah f**k that it's our stadium let's play against a Liverpool legends team, they are the ones who made the old one what it is lets show them our thanks.

Or am I just an old sentimentalist?

I thought this thread was about locals objecting to the new capacity.
        Oh I don't know.

Sounds good although by the time it opens our Liverpool legends will be

          Stevie Carra and fernando.

King kenny and the rest will be long gone.

Juventus would be a nice touch

Some sort of colluseum type thing, whereby G&H are stripped to the waist and have to battle to the death.

                Stick some lions in.

George Sephton can do a running commentary over the tannoy (public address system)

I would also go along with inviting Juventus first off.

If they felt it wasn't right I would go for Real Madrid.

"Or there is another option. That Mr Ferguson organises the fixtures in his office and sends it to us and everyone will know and cannot complain. That is simple."

Milan for me, especially after the two CL finals.
                              We come not to play.
