According t the papers amixture of both. Haven't they been saying that they had to put in £40m cash and more as assurances and credit notes. I'm using the info that here that everyone esle is taking as fact and using.

Don't get me wrong here, I want these guys out myself but I think the fans need to chill, do things the right way and not drag LFC's name further through the mud. Also we need to stop twisting things to suit our stance (not saying you are before you ask). All this about people today still complaining about purchase debt on the club, it isn't it is in the same place as before, the extra debt which has been put on the club is for new players and to start the stadium - I can't see anything wrong with that and don't know how some epople do, they have kept thier promise for whatever reason. How many clubs give managers a new contract, when he already has two years left to run, if his team appears to be performing below expectation?

I support Rafa 100%, no question, but these guys obviously don't and, in their eyes at least, a new contract will have to be earned through results on the pitch.

Rafa has to leave them in no doubt that he's the man to take the club forward. I'm sure he has the ability to do just that.

For **** sake if I have to say this one more time, can some people not ****ing read. On numerous occasions I have said I want the yanks out, ask Tom, I have been talking to him about it. All I'm saying as well as people like RS4 and Disco is that people are going mad about the debt, choosing to ignore facts to make their point - your only thing to beat them with is because they know George W and your own assumptions. The debt is structured in a sensible way, there was always going to be debt, they bought the ****ing club with debt that KOP football had, this hasn't changed but all of a sudden your beating them with it. As i said, i feel you're being silly with your 'literal' interpretations...

I have faith in several of our young players, doesnt mean we should go and give them 10 year contracts, for example.

Having faith in him doesnt negate the fact that this season has been poor and that it's no foregone conclusion that we're going to be title challengers. Why should they back themselves into a silly corner with a big contract offer?

It cost ****loads to remove Houllier and his team, let's not make the same mistake. It's conceivable, whether we like it or not, that Rafa's position might come under threat for footballing reasons and that would make it a silly move, to be handing him a 5 year contract.
