It does worry me that all these unsettling stories about rifts between Rafa and the owners, the owners wanting to sell etc could be coming from the same journos who for years have been trying to get Gerrard to leave, Crouch to leave, Rafa to go to Madrid etc etc i.e. ****stirrers.

Even Fergie is gloating that his Yanks turned out to be OK (l think its lucky for him that he won the PL - just a couple of years with no trophies and then we'd have seen how much transfer funds he'd be given and whether they'd have replaced him fairly sharpish) and is bragging they're better than ours and anyone who hates LFC must have a vested interest in ensuring that ours don't rejuvenate the club.

This cannot mean anything but that some money has disappeared through the accounts of the club - either to pay some interests - some boardmeeting costs - or something else - BUT no money for 1 class transfers (and you can hear Rafa asking for these money rigth from Athen!) except Torres/Babel - and some stopgab-players.

Rafa had to beg for more money - and clearly had to talk abt. not wanting the second choice-transfertarget - and were told that even Snoogy-doogy would be bought (and never came around). There were not money available for the transfers - there were loannotes - and when Rafa wanted to be able to fast conclude transfers (Khaka Kaladze in November), then he was told to shut up - learned that Klinsmann had been approached and told to continue to coach the team.

I don't beleive these two owners any more......!
