Sad but probably true and he really can't blame anyone else than himself. It's he who pick the team and it's he who decide the tactics.

Some of his decisions in the latest games have reminded me of some of Houlliers decisions.

It's starting to look almost the same as the year Houllier left. No passion, no one that cares, no organization.
Just believe and you never know what will happen.

According to Benitez it's important not simply to go out to win but to go out prepared to win, which means players have to put in the same level of work on a daily basis. Anything else is unacceptable.

He's got to go. No doubt about it for me

Rijkaard will do as a replacement

They are his players and I'd like to know which of those 8 you think Rafa had foisted on him against his will?

It's farcical to say Rafa hasn't been backed, he's been given free reign to sign the players he wants, ok he's had to work within a smaller budget than Chelsea or Manure but has had a bigger fund than gollum or Martin O'Neill have to work within. The bottom line is our league position and standard of football doesn't reflect the standard of team we have.

I actually agree with that 100%. It's not that Pako has gone, more that he hasn't been properly replaced.

Comes down to what reasons you feel Rafa did that for. To save his own job, or protect the club from a potential disaster?

The question is if Rafa is allowed to get in a new number 2?

It would mean extra costs if Rafa is sacked.

Exactly. So if his replacement was blocked would that not prick Rafa's ears up? Again we do not know but not getting a proper number 2 in leaves us exposed if the manager leaves.

That's all the proof you should need to see to realise Hicks "insurance policy" excuse was infact that, an excuse. In my world it is a blatant lie.

Rafa has clearly stated that he made the decision not to replace Pako, has nothing to do with the owners 'wanting to sack Rafa' at all.

Rafa has been backed financially enough to get the players he has now, he has been given a budget to get second rate players, so we play second rate football.

Rafa knows the type of player that is needed, he knows wether a player is great or not, but he does need the financial to be able to get these players which he really hasnt had.

Rafa has given us football and memories way abouve what we should have, the FA cup the champs league it goes on we have been pnching abouve or weight, that success has put more pressure on him and with the players we have at the momment it is worse.

We have at least 5 players who arnt at Liverpools level and should hopefully be gone and m shore Rafa knows all of this and he will get rid which he has shown in the past.

youve see the quality Rafa has braught in through Pepe, Torres, Babel, Masch, Agger, Lucas and possibly arbeloa.

When Rafa is backed in the right he gets very good players and this needs to continue all the way around the Team.

Rafa for me needs a number two and another techincal coach at the momment he is doing everything on his own and he shouldnt have to when he has the freedom in every part of his role, from transfers to getting the best coaches and he fails he should be judged.

                              Not now

All this about Rafa needing a #2, does anybody actually think he's been refused the chance to get one? If so then that's another nail in his coffin. If the club haven't refused this potential request for a #2 then you have to wonder why Rafa hasn't gone and got one.

Personally I don't believe our current form/position has anything at all to do with not having a #2 in place. At the moment - nearly every player in the first team squad is lacking confidence - you just have to wonder why?
