    Will we have a Kop?

Again, I am deterred by the monster stadium thread which has now grown so large that it may well invade the Library Forum.

So, to save me (and Howardlfc) the task of wading through 3 million pages of posts.....

Simple question, does stadium design v2a which was released today have a distinctive Kop, or is it basically just Reebok Plus.

    Lets know

so would it be false to refer to this design as Reebok with more seats?

also is it a 71,000 seater stadium or a 60,000 seater?

That is ground level on the outside, designed for 2 points, 1 is disabeled access (the real reason) and the other will be to help get people out quickly.

Would be false, KOP is seperate, the rest is partially a bowl bu the tops of the stands are treated as seperate stands. Outside def not a bowl.

Who knows, but looking at the supports and where they are I would imagine no. The corner of the KOP is filled in up to ground level, stops there because they want a seperate KOP, the support is there and also there would be no point to the glass then. The fact that they haven't said it can be extended leaves me with the impression that it can't be.
Got to say as well I'm dreading the planning app going in as I would imagine it will be submitted shortly as a variation on the already approved design and for 60,000 seats and then once that is approved (which should be quickly) they will re-submit for 71,000 seats. If they do that some will go mental and call them liars as they aren't building a 71,000 seater but if they want it built quickly it would be the fastest route.

Got to say I wouldn't like to be sat at the back of the main stand, that will be a big distance from the pitch and players will look like ants.
Looks like no obstucted views so I wont have to worry about a post with a big 4 on it.
