This is also why the stadium-design has changed to 71.000 seats, so that is has to be re-applied for another ½ year of delay, so that they dont have to take out the loans before a buyer comes around - or they will have to sell off Torres or Gerrard to pay off the interest.

Facts are quite hard to come by in these matters, mate.
We will just have to assume a lot, based on what we have seen the owners do and say so far.

For Hicks and Gillett, assuming they cannot meet the interest payments or have sufficient saleable assets to cover the debt, then yes.

Personally, I believe they'll sell out on/around that time. Like I said, despite what might happen we'll not be short of suitors if/when the have to sell. We are a very marketable asset in the right hands.

If speculation and assumptions and whispers and rumours play a role in limiting the effect of the Hicks charm offensive, then they serve a purpose.

True, if only the doomsayers would not make every other post about it. We get the point we understand your opinion. Now belt up, get behind the team, stop unsettling things, you are NOT helping the situation. H&G already know what you think about them. They are business men they will make decisions on the basis of profit only. To think that Tom being hysterical on here is going to make any difference is niave at best.
