    Champions League

Can't wait to it gets going again.
I've lost interest in our league campaign for now, we're ****e in it, maybe the FA Cup will be worth a go but the CL is the biggy for us now.
In this current form we don't have a hope of beating Inter Milan, i know we raise our game on the European Nights but you simply can't turn it on and off like a tap, not when you're ****ing with teams such as Inter, they'll hammer us if we defend like we did against them part-timers today.
It will take a big effort to get past Inter but if anyone can do it...Liverpool can.
    Bring them on

We'll probably be playing a full strength side against Inter...

Do you realistically think we can put the Italians out?

      I'm in two minds myself.

Anyone know what Inter's form has been like of late?

We always play better against good teams, in Europe anyway.
You can agree with me, or you can be wrong.

Very good. They're unbeaten and i think 7 points clear.

Their league form never bears any correlation to their CL form, mind you...

Yup true, plus were 2-1 down at home to Parma a few days ago when that Zlatan bloke scored 2 late goals to make it 3-2

That's because Juventus are out of the equation and Milan are past it. A seriously poor league since all the world's best players (bar Kaka) realised the big bucks were elsewhere.

We were dog****e in the league in 2005 and finished 5th with 11 losses
We lost to Burnley in the 3rd round of the FA cup in 2005

We beat Juventus, Chavski and Milan on our way to wining the Champions League also in 2005.

I guess we can switch it on like a tap. Rafa knows what he's doing in Europe, it's not the case domestically

                        I sense strong sarcasm

Aye, we can definetely put them out, i say we hit them hard opening twenty in the 1st leg at Anfield, a bit like we did to Juve a few years ago in the qtrs...Big Sami popped up at the back stick and rifled home a sweet left foot volley, then Luis's thunderbolt from 25yards, what a night that was.

When we're doing ****e in the league, we usually do quite well.

                            Exactly.

They pissed all over Serie A last season too...

How many did they win the CL final by again? Oh...

I think we can beat any side in Europe over two legs. However, if we played Inter tomorrow we'd get cuffed. We need to start picking up some form going into the Inter games or else we're done for. Performances over the last month or so have been very very poor and that worries me.
