I never voted for the *******s, and never will!!
    your talking out yer arse.
    what vote?
    how did they demand?
Personally i think they have made a huge difference this year and i hope when its opened up in the summer a lot more people move their st's up there.
comparing games from this year to any in previous years bar man/everton the ndifference in atmosphere/noise level has been a million times better.
whether you agree with their stance on the yanks or not, they are trying to improve the atmosphere and most of the time thats what they do.
at least thet are trying which is a lot more than can be said for a lot of people.

were you at the Portsmouth game? They were as silent as the rest of the ground that game. The only difference they've made is to resurrect some old songs that most of us were glad to forget. The atmosphere is no better and no worse than it was before.

They have succeeded in making lots of people feel very self-important though...

Ive seen no difference in the atmosphere in fact its probably worse this season than ever, i can hear the ****in players most games now! Even the Man U game wasnt much of an atmos. All i really hear is individuals slagging players off and muted singin from the Kop for about 5 minutes a game.

Havant and Waterlooville are not likely to get this far again in the FA Cup. They filled the entire lower Anfield Road end.

When their team scored, we applauded. That's what the FA Cup is about.

A lot of people did not want to spoil it for them; wanted to let them have their beautiful moment without spoiling it with the negative elements of protesting.

I, personally, was happy that this was the case. Like I said, they are not likely to get here again. Making the day as memorable as possible in a GOOD way, for them, was the way to go.

We cannot win. We complain when we sing, we complain when we don't.

Protests create a negative atmosphere. Liverpool, Liverpool, loud and clear? Well, how long has it been since we heard that?

Get behind the team. That's what I say. Because, I was at the game when the protest songs were loud and clear and the atmosphere was horrific.
I think they wanted us to protest. Did you not see the USA flags around there end

The songs i'm on about are the likes of we don't carry bottles, those were the days etc. glorifying hooliganism. And we'd walk a million miles oh kenny etc. Singing about players who haven't played for twenty years when we never sing for half the current team

As for the atmosphere, you are kidding yourself if you think it is any better this year. It's just the same as it has been for a few years now, crap unless it's a big game or it's tight and they need our support for the last twenty mins. I admire the effort of rtk, but they are not the answer.

in reagrds to singing about past players
does that mean we should just forget classics like pst or fields of anny rd?
nothing wrong with honouring past greats.
there has always been great players who didnt have songs.
agree with you re dont carry bottles etc but i still persist it is better.
you have to remember there is only a few hundred up there trying
you cant blame them when 44k are silent.

I think it's fine to sing about our legends. It's just that they seem to be the only songs they ever sing. I just think it is a bit sad to sing twenty year old songs when we don't even get behind the current team. I'd rather they sang about the team on the pitch if they want to get the support of the rest of us.

Singing about anything would be nice. At half the games I've been to it seems like we are playing behind closed doors.

This season, for the first time ever, I've been to a game at Anfield where I have not sung a single song
White liquid in a bottle = Milk

                      Purslow = C*nt

                        So you're to blame then.
                        Oh I don't know.

We had the RTK section singing their protest songs only to be drowned out by others singing Liverpool Liverpool etc.

No what pissed me off was the fact that people were only singing to drown out the protest songs. Fair enough if you dont belive in singing protest songs. But ****in sing for the rest of the game.

When ever the RTK section sang any other songs no one ****in joined in, as soon as they sang a protest song every ****er piped up to drown em out.

I can only see this rift growing and growing
                          agree entirely with this.
i ended up arguing with me two mates about it during the second half cos it pisses me off that people sing so luodly and passionately in order to drown others out! Admittedly it may not have been the best time to sing the protest songs, but the vitriol on some peoples faces!!!

i was one of the many who wanted the yanks out and DIC to buy us (i still hope one day it might happen) but with hicks coming out and telling the world he WILL NOT sell his stake in lfc, gillett WILL NOT sell his stake either, money has NEVER been refused for transfers, money never WILL be refused for transfers, the stadium WILL now get built, rafa had full backing and WILL be staying, masher WILL now sign a full time deal - i beleive now is the time to stop in house arguements between fans and fully back the team. stop the protesting till the end of the season as it WILL NOT help the club or team or manager. it is now overtaking the priorities which should be matters on the pitch. i for one will give hicks time to (as he says) win the respect of the fans. let him prove he is devoted to the club, give him the chance to show he is behind rafa (both rafa and hicks both say they are working together for the club and i beleive them) give him the chance to show the stadium will get built. if by the end of the summer things have not improved then by all means lets protests to get them out of the club but untill then lets come together, get our season back on track and support our team as one - the way it should be YNWA!!!!!!
People who think there's no good way to die have obviously never heard the phrase 'Drug-fuelled-sex-heart-attack'.

so you're prepared to wait until the summer? And what exactly do you expect to change by then?
We WILL buy players this summer - it's all in the loan - £45m or so. But, and it's a big but, we still have to pay that money back. For a club thats never made more than £10m profit in ANY year thats unlikely - they are going to turn us into Leeds - i.e. reliant on CL money. I much prefered it when Moores was in charge - at least we were run correctly without too much debt then.

And anyhow if things change in the summer how are you planning to make your voice heard? You'll be waiting till the start of the season, and then it'll be..........'lets get behind the teams challenge for the title'!

i'm prepared to wait because all this protesting bull**** WILL NOT make any difference to the yanks - they will not sell up. i for one want lfc to win the fa cup / champs league this year and to do that the team NEED the fans behind them - all of them. if the team can have the fans behind them and get back to winning ways then we can salvage our season.

i also think that by the summer rafa will be able to sell the players not up to scratch, recoup 20-30 million, add that to the 45 million we suppose to have for new players and buy the 5 players i think we need to compete for the league.
